Wale - Pretty Girls (Live on Jimmy Kimmel)
Where is Gucci?

Where is Gucci?
Busy day - I’m going to be play catch up. Video for Wale’s “Pretty Girls.” The video is nothing special. Love the song though.

This is definitely a favorite. Cudi is pretty good when it comes to his guest work. I’m looking forward to his next album. Off David Guetta’s latest album One Love.

spotted at FSD.

Wale hops over the Young Money beat that is sweeping the airwaves.
Sorry for the rushed posts - but it’s the holidays

Gucci Mane – Have It All (ft. Pharrell)
This is pretty fresh - I love when Pharrell does this shit. Not sure what this is from but this is a fun joint. GUCCI.
The State Vs. Radric Davis in stores now. Radric loss.

Yet another Wale freestyle - this time goin over the infamous “Stronger” beat. I haven’t heard this track in a minute. This is old but still dope.

Olubowale drops some rhymes over Hov’s “Thank You.” Good verses.

Cam’ron – Ooh Baby ft. Vado (prod. Araabmuzik)
Oh how I miss the classic Dipset sound. KILLA!
I got an hour or so until dinner - gonna go bump the Diplomat records and read the new Complex mag with Eminem on the cover.

Toki Wright - Do The Right Thing
Toki Wright lead’s off DJBooth.net’s In The Booth, Vol. 3 mixtape with this nice rhyme over some old school Ludacris.
Songs with blatant sample’s like this (Tom Petty - Free Fallin’) all ways through me for a loop as a music fan. Then again how many hip-hop/rap songs are blatant samples? Has anyone heard the original sample for Jay’s “D.O.A.”???
Ha - anyway I’m always a big Chamillionaire fan so I will most definitely support. His upcoming album Venom should drop February 2nd.

Wale’s “Pretty Girls” with The Root’s as a back up band? I’m sold. Attention: Deficit in stores yesterday! SUPPPORT!
UCB gets down with Wale on this DC anthem titled “Pat Your Weave.” This track is a party on its own. *adds to party playlist*

I’m actually really disappointed in myself that I haven’t been posting every single thing related to this project but I have been slacking. BlakRoc is a project with indie rock band The Black Keys in which they enlist a hip hop army for a variety of tracks. The album features Raekwon, Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, NOE, Nicole Wray, Billy Danze and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
This track is titled “Ain’t Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo)” and features Mos Def and Jim Jones.
As I fast forwarded through the BET Hip-Hop Awards last night these cyphers were easily the highlights of the night.
Up top we have Mos Def, Black Thought and Eminem. Ridiculous. I got goosebumps watching all three of these guys spit.
Below we have KRS-One, Wale, Nipsey Hussle and Gsan. Further down Nicki Minaj, Joe Budden (fuckin’ kills it), Buckshot and Crown Royyal.
The one and only DJ Premier on the 1s & 2s.
This is hip-hop people.

Wale – Letter Ft. John Mayer (Prod. By Mark Ronson)

Bobby Ray hasn’t fed the streets with any material in awhile…here is fresh new tune.

DJ Benzi Presents -The Elitaste CMJ Mixtape
In celebration of my first CMJ showcase, presented with Puma and NUE Agency, I thought it’d be fitting to have my man DJ Benzi put together a mixtape featuring Elitaste artists (Wale, Mike Posner, Shawn Chrystopher, PRGz, Frontrunner) as well as everyone on the bill for CMJ. Featuring new, old and exclusive tracks from Mike Posner, Wale, Camp Lo, Theophilus London and more, this mixtape will not only get you hype for the showcase, but will carry you through a cold winter. Enjoy!
Via Elitaste.
Well this has a lot of dope stuff on it. A lot of unreleased stuff as well as previously released stuff that is most definitely worth checking out….and most importantly Wale hops on Mike Posner’s “Drug Dealer Girl.” I could see Wale & Pharrell joint becoming a hit too.
Featuring: Mike Posner – Drug Dealer Girl (Remix) ft. Wale

Word is this will be on his upcoming Attention: Deficit album which drops November 3rd. The Rihanna track is just a sample DJ Haze & DJ Capcom’s Leaders Of The New Empire mixtape. Worth a listen though.
shouts to illRoots.

Wale mentioned a few days ago that he was gonna drop a track via his Twitter - and he comes through.
Attention: Deficit drops November 11th.
