So is Drake happy with the end result? Barker has no idea — seems Drizzy hasn’t even heard the remix yet. No one has. Until now, that is. “No one’s heard this!” Barker said. “Actually, Marshall [Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem] heard it, and he loved it — but no one else has.”
After what has clearly been a long few months for these two guys - it’s nice to see all things aside they are still putting out dope music. You may remember that just last September Travis Barker (of a recentley reunited Blink-182) and DJ-AM survived a brutal plane crash after playing an event in South Carolina. The crash killed 4 people but some how the lives of these two talented musicians were saved. Ironically, the two were playing a show in promotion of their last mixtape titled Fix Your Face. If you missed it the first time around - here is a download link.
The duo are giving away their latest mixtape through a very interesting marketing technique this time. Offering up the mixtape for free download in exchange for just one tweet, via Twitter. The mixtape is titled Fix Your Face Vol. 2 - Coachella 09. Technically, your supposed to download the mixtape after “Tweeting” for them. But since not everyone is on Twitter I uploaded a copy for y’all. I hope you enjoy this incredible remix album. I still bump the first one and I’m sure I will be bumping this one for the rest of the summer.
Also - Travis has continued his series of drum remixes of rap tracks via YouTube. This time he destroys Eminem’s “3A.M.” One again I like the Travis Barker remix more.
