XV ft. Freddie Gibbs & Shawn Chrystopher - Me, You (Remix)

I’ll just jack what I wrote over at Fake Shore Drive.

XV’s (Wichita, Kansas) “Me, You” gets the remix treatment with help from Freddie Gibbs and Inglewood, CA rapper/singer Shawn Chrystopher. DJ Benzi has remixed XV’s mixtape Everybody’s Nobody, which is where the original version of this track can be found. Look for “Everybody’s Nobody” (We Got The Remix) coming soon.

Freddie went in. He has gotta be one of the go-to guest verse rappers in the game right now. Nice to see Shawn Chrys on this too. Excited to hear the rest of this mixtape remixed by Benzi. I loved the original tape.

In the third episode of Mike Posner’s web series “One Foot Out The Door”, Mike puts the finishing touches on his 2nd mixtape, “One Foot Out The Door”, linking up with Clinton Sparks and Big Sean to close things out. Check out Mike producing the intro to the mixtape as well.

Tune in every two weeks as Mike deals with the pressures of finishing college about going back to college with a record deal, what his life will be post-graduation and his upcoming packed itinerary. Tune in November 11th for Episode 4 which will correspond with the release of his “Drug Dealer Girl” music video starring Rosa Acosta.

I had a real dope conversation with Inglewood, California native and hip-hop artist Shawn Chrystopher this past Sunday on Bad Service. Uploaded the interview above - a little over an hour but wel worth the listen. I kept the songs in because we talked about each song during the segments. We also talk about how he got into rapping/making music, making music in high school and college, his mixtapes and his latest album A City With No Seasons that dropped this summer.
