Rick Ross - Lay Back 2 ft. Robin Thicke
Even with the bizarre past of Rick Ross I still find Deeper Than Rap to be one of the better release of this year. “Lay Back” was already one of my favorite tracks with a guest feature from crooner Robin Thicke. Well it looks like they put together a part 2 which is equally is dope. This is the next single off Deeper Than Rap.
Eminem x Amy Winehouse - Rehab vs. Relape (Cookin’ Soul Mashup)
Production duo Cookin’ Soul did some real nice clean cut remixes both in video and mp3 form. Real dope stuff right here. The first is Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet” mixed with Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” which is perfect for the release of Em’s album Relapse. The mixing on these are just so clean - Cookin’ Soul is killin it.
The other which can be heard and viewed below is a mash up Rick Ross’ “Hustlin” and the Miami Vice Theme song. Genius.

This should be an auto-listen - simply because Black Milk is on the beat. Detroit’s Phat Kat is dropping a new album called Tha Katakombz soon. Real nice verses right here.
Gorilla Zoe drops a video for his track “What It Is” which features Rick Ross and Kollosus. Off his latest album Dont Feed Da Animals, which is in stores now. Originally this was one of my faves off the new album but it kind of gets lamer and lamer the more I listen. Still some catchy gems off that new album if you haven’t jammed it yet.
