P.O.S sat down for an exclusive interview with us while he was in London Town for a gig last year; We discussed the complexities of growing up in two very different towns with the black and white racial equilibrium, the difficulties of identifying himself with a particular sub-culture, how his album Never Better is, at its core, a Hip Hop album, his thoughts on why mainstream Black America hasn’t overwhelmingly embraced indie rap, and much more.

I’ve watched a quite a few P.O.S. interviews and interviewed him myself for that matter and every time I see him he always has something different and interesting to say. He says and raps what I think…but can’t put to words. If that makes sense? I’m forever impressed with this guys appreciation for his fans, his career, and his love of music. Definitely watch this one - it stands out from the rest.

Mod Sun – Keep It Movin’ ft. P.O.S.

A fresh new jam from Minnesota’s very own Mod Sun. With a guest verse from the best rapper in the state of Minnesota right now - this is a fresh sound. I haven’t really seen someone successfully pull off the hip-hop hippy thing. This guy just might be the first.

This is the first leak from Mod’s upcoming Hippy Hop EP that is set to drop Jan. 15th.

I love seeing P.O.S. get some recognition like this. Dude truly deserves it. P.O.S. performing the track “Optimist” of his album Never Better live at this years Woodie Awards! Naturally, P.O.S. is up for an award for best performer. No doubt in my mind that he is.

We haven’t heard from P.O.S in a bit as he has been busy with Warped Tour.

The Mash Up sat down with POS in his tour bus during his stop at Sacramento for Vans Warped Tour. We discuss his new album, Never Better, Warped Tour and the rock scene, who he would love to work with in the rock scene and his plans for the rest of 2009/2010.

Easily my favorite track off P.O.S. latest album Never Better finally gets a music video. The video for “Purexed” just dropped and P.O.S. never fails to keep up the creativity. A real dope video which has this still photo effect which shows P.O.S. going around Minneapolis promoting a show with his band Building Better Bombs. Cameos galore. Love the video! I might have to head to Warped tour just to support when he comes through Minneapolis on August 2nd.
