Theophilus London – Humdrum Town + Joe Budden – Russian Roulette

Theophilus London – Humdrum Town

A fresh one from one hell of a rising star outta Brooklyn. I know a bunch of readers liked this kid the last time I posted up some stuff. Not 100% sure what project this is off - I think it is just a single. Enjoy.

Joe Budden – Russian Roulette

Jump-off Joe Budden (1/4 of Slaughterhouse) does it like no other - this time off Rihanna’s forgettable song “Russian Roulette.” I’ll remember it now. MOOD MUZIK!

I can’t even tell you how many times I have re-watched his verse on those BET ciphers. Watch here.

BET Hip-Hop Awards: The Cyphers

As I fast forwarded through the BET Hip-Hop Awards last night these cyphers were easily the highlights of the night.

Up top we have Mos Def, Black Thought and Eminem. Ridiculous. I got goosebumps watching all three of these guys spit.

Below we have KRS-One, Wale, Nipsey Hussle and Gsan. Further down Nicki Minaj, Joe Budden (fuckin’ kills it), Buckshot and Crown Royyal.

The one and only DJ Premier on the 1s & 2s.

This is hip-hop people.

BONUS: DJ Premier, Mos Def, Black Thought, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Buckshot, Crown Royyal, Joe Budden, Wale, Nipsey Hussle, Gsan & KRS-One – 2009 BET Hip Hop MEGAMIX MP3

Slaughterhouse - The One (Uncut Video)

I don’t know what it is about Slaughterhouse but I’m really feelin the work they are putting in. Here is a dope ass video for their single “The One” off the Slaughterhouse LP which is set to drop August 11th. This beat is knockin and I have been bumpin it ever since it dropped, production from DJ Khalil. I also love how Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz rap back and forth at the end of the track. Directed by the very busy Rik Cordero. Dope video - I love how blogs have made music videos more popular again. Cause MTV sure isn’t playing any videos. But who gives a shit about MTV anyway. Real nice video - I dig it!

Slaughterhouse - The One (prod. DJ Khalil)

Slaughterhouse - The One (prod. DJ Khalil) (Dirty) | Instrumental | Clean

Well this is the Slaughterhouse track I was most anticipating. I’ve been teased with behind the scenes footage from the video shoot. The beat is bumps like no other, a catchy hook and the Slaughterhouse gang beats this one death - production from DJ Khalil. The first official single off the group’s upcoming debut album titled Slaughterhouse LP drops August 11th.

Artwork and logo is classic.

Well this will dominate my iTunes for the next few days. This is such a jam.

N.E.R.D. feat. Santigold - Soldier (Live On MTV Spring Break) + Fall Out Boy feat. Joe Budden, 88-Keys, Murs - America’s Suitehearts (Remix)

Alright doin a little late night blog sesh, after an amazing week in Minnesota (I’ll miss it) it’s back to Chicago tomorrow. I’m sure I’ll twitter to death from the airport. I just hope security doesn’t hassle me for trying to bring my mixer as a carry on. Gotta love travel days….right?

Enough about me, N*E*R*D perform a new track titled “Soldier” which featuers Santigold on the hook and an apparent Littlest Wayne verse. No version of the track has leaked yet but the band apaprently has been playing this on various TV shows this last week. Actually you can peep them playing it on Jimmy Fallon last night (CLICK HERE), you can hear the Wayne verse in the background. Sounds pretty good - but to be honest I love anything N*E*R*D puts out.

Fall Out Boy feat. Joe Budden, 88-Keys, Murs - America’s Suitehearts (Remix)

Now this is pretty damn random but I gotta say some how it works. Apparently Patrick Stump the lead singer of Fall Out Boy is the man that brought all these guys together. He recruits Slaughterhouse member Joe Budden, 88-Key’s who just released a Kanye co-produced album late last year and Murs the other half of Felt and Living Legneds member who also dropped an album late last year. I was hesitant to even listen to this at first but I guess it works…..some how. Not like I would jam this everyday or anything though.

Slaughterhouse - Move On (Video) + Lil Wanye - Got Money (Live MTV Springreak)

SLAUUUGTAHOUSE. I think this might be my favorite Slaughterhouse track so far - Crooked, Royce and Joell all kill it, Joe is aight he just never impresses me but I still dig him, I guess. I think this is originally just a Joell Ortiz track but the boys all hopped on this one. Video is nothing special but it’s dope enough - mainly posting this one for the track- 8 minutes of lyrical goodness. BEAT is knockin - produced by the Kickdrums.

+++

Posted a view of those MTV spring break videos a day or so ago - I guess I missed this one. Lil Wayne performs “Got Money.” I love the Carter 3 and most of the tracks on it - this one is always bangin. Wayne really needs to drop this rock shit though - I thought this was poppy enough.

Cause bitch I’m the bomb like…

BIOTCH!!!
