Lil Wayne - Drop The World (ft. Eminem) (Video)

Let’s be honest The Rebirth is garbage. But sometimes there is a diamond in the rough. The beat is what makes this one stand out. Production from Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. A guest verse from Eminem helped a little bit too.

Lil Wayne – Drop The World ft. Eminem + Charles Hamilton – Air Agains

Lil Wayne – Drop The World ft. Eminem

There has been a great deal of hype around this track since it was annouced. Gotta say it lives up to the hype. This will probably be the only dope track off Weezy’s rock effort titled Rebirth. Eminem SNAPS.

+++

Charles Hamilton – Air Agains

3rd leak from Charles Hamilton’s album Normalcy, that is supposed to drop this Friday. Like I’ve said I’m not the world’s biggest CH fan but all three of these tracks have been pretty good.

Drake – Forever (Travis Barker Remix) ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem (Video + MP3)

Drake – Forever (Travis Barker Remix) ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem

So is Drake happy with the end result? Barker has no idea — seems Drizzy hasn’t even heard the remix yet. No one has. Until now, that is.
“No one’s heard this!” Barker said. “Actually, Marshall [Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem] heard it, and he loved it — but no one else has.”

Well Travis does it again. Damn!

BET Hip-Hop Awards: The Cyphers

As I fast forwarded through the BET Hip-Hop Awards last night these cyphers were easily the highlights of the night.

Up top we have Mos Def, Black Thought and Eminem. Ridiculous. I got goosebumps watching all three of these guys spit.

Below we have KRS-One, Wale, Nipsey Hussle and Gsan. Further down Nicki Minaj, Joe Budden (fuckin’ kills it), Buckshot and Crown Royyal.

The one and only DJ Premier on the 1s & 2s.

This is hip-hop people.

BONUS: DJ Premier, Mos Def, Black Thought, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Buckshot, Crown Royyal, Joe Budden, Wale, Nipsey Hussle, Gsan & KRS-One – 2009 BET Hip Hop MEGAMIX MP3

Drake - Forever ft. Eminem, Kanye West & Lil Wayne (prod. Boi-1da)

Drake - Forever ft. Eminem, Kanye West & Lil Wayne (prod. Boi-1da)

UPDATED: This is the final explicit mastered CD quality version of the track.

So - I’ve been hearing a lot of gossip about this one over the last week. It was supposed to drop Friday via iTunes. I mean just look at this track! As hip-hop explodes right now let clear a few things up - this is NOT the final version. A new hook will be put in place from a female R&B singer who has yet be named. This version is un-mastered a final version will drop as planned on Friday if not earlier. Yes - this is a recycled beat.

The track will be featured in the upcoming LeBron James bio-pic/movie More Than A Game.

Here is some more info from Rich Paul, who works alongside LeBron for his marketing company. Quotes via MTV NEWS:

“It was done, it was just Drake and Kanye, and then they went back and got two more prolific talents and it just made it even crazier, ” Paul told MTV News late Tuesday. “They blessed Drake crazy.”

The song came together when Gee Roberson, an executive at Atlantic Records who also manages West and helps to oversee the careers of Drake and Wayne, visited LeBron during the playoffs in May.

“He came over and played this — it was me, LeBron and Maverick [Carter, James’ manager],” said Paul, who will co-executive produce the project for James’ camp. “And he played the track, it was hot. It went right with the movie, it was like perfect for a moment that you want to be forever. And when he decided to put Wayne, Drake, Kanye and Eminem on it [together], it just makes is better. It’s one of those songs fans will really want to hear forever. It’s that type of feeling.”

“There’s gonna be an unexpected feature on the hook,” he said. “Right now we have three different R&B singers writing the hook to see who comes up with the best one. I’mma be shocked. So I can’t tell you who it’s gonna be.” On the original, Drake performs double duty, rapping and singing the chorus.

Shouts to LilWayneHQ and NEW MUSIC CARTEL. Nahright with the artwork.

Eminem x Amy Winehouse - Rehab vs. Relapse (Cookin’ Soul Mashup) + Rick Ross vs. Miami Vice - Miami Bawse Hustlin’ (Cookin’ Soul Mashup)

Eminem x Amy Winehouse - Rehab vs. Relape (Cookin’ Soul Mashup)

Production duo Cookin’ Soul did some real nice clean cut remixes both in video and mp3 form. Real dope stuff right here. The first is Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet” mixed with Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” which is perfect for the release of Em’s album Relapse. The mixing on these are just so clean - Cookin’ Soul is killin it.

The other which can be heard and viewed below is a mash up Rick Ross’ “Hustlin” and the Miami Vice Theme song. Genius.

Enjoy - these are real nice! Hopefully some more of these drop.

Eminem feat. Dr. Dre - Old Time’s Sake (Produced by Dr. Dre)

A 3rd leak off Eminem’s Relape which drops May 19th. I guess this is the best of the three I’d say. Still not very impressed with any of them. I suppose it’s nice to hear Dre rhyming again.

I had a busy weekend so I forgot to drop the new Eminem video for his track “3AM” which I’m sure you have seen already by now.

Splash with the link.

Eminem - 3AM

Eminem - 3AM

The second single from Eminem’s new album Relapse which drops May 19th. This is a million times better than “We Made You” but I still am not feelin’ the weird ass flow. At least this one is listenable though. Obviously the beat is pretty nice.

nabbed the link from Mike but the track premiered at RapRadar.

Eminem - Relapse (Album Art)

Those are all pills from the looks of it. If you weren’t aware in late 2005 Em went to rehab for addiction to prescription sleeping pills - which he has since defeated I believe.

Prescribed by Dr. Dre.

Nice.

Prescription Refills Release Date - May 19th.

Bobby Creekwater - Chec Chec (prod. Eminem) + Wiz Khalifa - Get Sum

Bobby Creekwater - Chec Chec (prod. Eminem)

Sorry I’m playing catch up so bear with my pathetic writing. But this is a nice track from the Shady Records signee by the name of Bobby Creekwater - I’m not to familiar with Shady Records and all those guys but I think Bobby has been around awhile. I don’t really know what a classic Eminem beat would sound like but I think this sounds pretty decent.

Wiz Khalifa - Get Sum

Wiz Khalifa outta Pittsburg drops another track off his upcoming mixtape Flight School which I no doubt will be posting this Friday when it drops. Wiz has an album on the way sometime this year. I always love the beats Wiz picks.

Last Asher Roth Post

I was thinking about just ignorning the handful of Asher tracks that have leaked the last few days. His new album drops in just over a week on 4.20. I’m not posting anymore from this project A: because it comes out soon and B: I’m tired of Asher posts. No hating on Asher because this new album is gonna be pretty surprsing I think. I’m expecting this to be a much better album than people were expecting. If your not sold yet take a look at these last 2 songs before the album drops next week. The first track shows some strengh on a pretty nice track with Busta Rhymes. The second track Asher in song acknowledges his never ending comparrison with Eminem. I really like them both…

Asleep In The Bread Aisle drops 4/20. Some nice interviews below too.
