Drake - Over

Drake - Over

This is the first single off Drake’s debut album titled Thank Me Later. Wasn’t that impressed by this at first but it’s grown on me over the last 24 hours. Beat is pretty fresh. Produced by Boi-1da - who also produced “Forever.”

Shouts to illRoots.

Four Young Money Tracks

Four new leaks from the Young Money crew. At this point I honestly listen for the Drake verses then Weezy and then the potential one liners from the rest of the crew. I’ll still probably check out the full album (titled We Are Young Money) when it officially drops next Tuesday (12/22.)

Swiped the links from illRoots.com.

Timbaland - Say Something ft. Drake (Video) + GLC - To A Gangster

I’m not going to lie - I definitely like this track. Video is nothing special.

But putting Miley Cyrus on your album? Timbaland = sell out. Shock Value 2 in stores today.

+++

Some incredibly gorgeous visuals for GLC’s “To A Gangster” off the upcoming mixtape, Respect My Come Up which is presented by Fake Shore Drive and LRG and is set to drop next Tuesday.

Gangster movies played a big part in raising me! Fortunately enough I was able to differentiate between movies & reality! However I was unable to escape the allure of a Scorsese film or even the Sopranos. This is Noah Banks & GLC’s interpretation of their favorite gangster films in the form of a music video! Listen well & watch closely as we demonstrate a mere case of cause & effect! Its cool to entertain as this is a case of entertainment & we in no way glorify the genocide that plagues our community! Chicago lets Go & stay tuned to FakeshoreDrive.com for the release of “Respect My Come Up!”

-GLC

Incredible cinematography from Noah Banks. Track produced by The Weathermen.

Shouts to Andrew over at FSD - can’t wait to hear the full tape next week.

Birdman – 4 My Town ft. Drake & Lil Wayne (Video) + Three 6 Mafia - Shots After Shots (feat. Tech N9ne) (Video)

Visuals for “4 My Town” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne. Off Birdman’s new album Priceless. Fitting title, because I wouldn’t pay a cent for a Birdman album.

+++

At the right time and place this song is perfect. Laws of Power, new album from Three 6 Mafia is due in stores March 2010.

Drake – Forever (Travis Barker Remix) ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem (Video + MP3)

Drake – Forever (Travis Barker Remix) ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem

So is Drake happy with the end result? Barker has no idea — seems Drizzy hasn’t even heard the remix yet. No one has. Until now, that is.
“No one’s heard this!” Barker said. “Actually, Marshall [Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem] heard it, and he loved it — but no one else has.”

Well Travis does it again. Damn!

DJ Khaled – Fed Up ft. Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross & Drake + 50 Cent - Pshyco ft. Eminem (Prod. By Dr. Dre) X So Disrespectful (Prod. By Tha Bizness)

DJ Khaled – Fed Up ft. Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross & Drake

In typical Khaled fashion he load this one up with any rapper that is relevant. I like this line up. DRIZZY!

This is the first single of Khaled’s upcoming album titled Victory.

50 Cent - Pshyco ft. Eminem (Prod. By Dr. Dre)
50 Cent - So Disrespectful (Prod. By Tha Bizness)

I’m not the worlds biggest 50 fan but I’ll acknowledge he is a very successful MC. Dope production from Dr. Dre and Tha Bizness.

These are both off 50’s upcoming album Before I Self Destruct which leaked today. This one hurts - his album wasn’t supposed to drop till November 23th. Ah well ha!

LMAO at posting 50 and Khaled/Ross tracks in the same post!

Drake - Forever (Chicago RMX) ft. S-Preme, LA, & Bullet + The Cool Kids & Hey Champ - (We Are) Champions

Drake “Forever (Chicago RMX)” ft. S-Preme, LA, & Bullet

3 of Chicago’s rising stars come together to showcase the talent of The Lake City. All three of these guys kill it - here is a little sample:

“Runnin’ around grabbin’ coins like I’m on the bonus level,
I’m in the game, tryin’ to play, make my way to owner level,
I’m Sears Tower n****, I am Hancock,
And watch how Preme is rappin’, I’m a beast like I’m The Sandlot”
- S-Preme

“Told ‘em I’m a star,
Like I’m Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,
Before LA got to LA, LA wasn’t a star
Get it?
Lew Alcindor, every beat I injure,
Smash every track, ain’t no need for a censor,
Mr. Clean mouth, no grill, no dentures,
Extra, (When I’m) Winterfresh, spit
Orbiting your mentals!”
- LA

“That’s why my whole career growin’ bright,
Paid tuition, now show money, you doin’ open mics,
And my flow is tight, all I do is drop bombs,
Better than all of you rappers and I’m makin’ pop songs”
- Bullet

You can find both S-Preme and LA on the recently released  March of Time Mixtape Presented by Pwelbs.com & The Airtime Collection. CHICAGO STAND UP!

Download it here: Pwelbs.com & The Airtime Colelction Present: The March of Time (Mixtape)

Shouts to Sgt. Tibs over at GWHH.

CunninLynguists – Running Wild ft. E-40 & Evidence

Produced by Kno and featuring emcees Natti and Deacon the Villain trading verses with Evidence of Dilated Peoples and Bay Area legend E-40 about society’s uptick in chaos and violence, CunninLynguists‘ Running Wild is the official first single from Strange Journey Volume Two, the second installment of this year’s double release from the trio.

Wow - I can’t wait for this to drop on November 3rd. I bumped the shit outta the last one. It will feature the likes of Sean Price, Tonedeff, Geologic (of Blue Scholars), Freddie Gibbs, Substantial, Poison Pen and more.

Birdman - More Milli ft. Drake
