Dave Coresh – Formal Introduction (Mixtape)

Dave Coresh – Formal Introduction (Mixtape)

I’ve been a fan of Dave since the first time I heard “Keep It Movin (Prod by Rob Bates)’” This mixtape is yet another example of why Dave Coresh is one of the best rappers coming out of Chicago right now. I also love it when a certain rapper and certain producer just create something incredible every time they collaborate. In this case Rob Bates supplies even more epic production to his resume. Excited to see his career too. Maja 7th, another Chicago producer definitely gets things done on his tracks too.

Don’t skip this one.

Look for Dave on Bad Service This Sunday, March 14th from 6-9PM. Tune in at The Beset College Radio Station in the Nation - Radio DePaul.

Chicago-based, D.C.-bred emcee Dave Coresh has stepped into the Booth to bring fans his long-awaited fourth mixtape, Formal Introduction. Mixed by DJ Tay James, the street album is presented by RubyHornet, FakeShoreDrive, IllRoots, and DJBooth.net. Other sponsors include Jugrnaut, InoPrints.com, DTLR, Q&Q Entertainment, Classick Studios and Grade A Mixtapes.

Among the 15 fresh new cuts showcased on the set are the recently-featured title track and the artist’s Booth debut, the reader-acclaimed “Keep It Movin.” Fellow Windy City natives Mike Schpitz, Add-2, Vic Mensa, Chuck L.i., Rocket and BEN, along with D.C.‘s G5 Clive join Coresh throughout the project, flowing over beats by Rob Bates, Maja 7th, ILL Brown, Chaise Marcel, Nova and Jon Francis.

Dave Coresh - Keep It Movin’ (Video)

First off - huge apologies for my slackings on the blog. As shitty as it is school has to come first right? But I had to slip this video as I currently write about Europe in the middle ages.

Insane new video from the homie Dave Coresh for his banger titled “Keep It Movin’.”  If you have been rollin with Pwelbs.com for a minute - y’all know Airtime Collection and I snagged this joint for our March of Time mixtape which you can download up top. I’m telling you, Dave is going to be making some serious noise this year. Dave’s new mixtape Formal Introduction, is set to drop next Monday, March 8th. I hear it’s bonkers.

Also Dave will be swinging through Bad Service with yours truly on Sunday, March 14th. Get excited.

By the way Rob Bates snapped on the production for this joint.

shouts Q&Q Ent. and Jugrnaut.

Dave Coresh - Mixtape Announcement + Live Footage

Last Thursday Dave Coresh performed at “PopThemThangs” w/ Donnis and previewed a track from his forthcoming mixtape Formal Introduction.  Roper caught some nice footage; Formal Introduction (Mixed/Hosted by DJ Tay James) is set to drop March 8th.

We got two news items from the camp of Mr. Dave Coresh. First off, up top we have a flyer announcing that we will have a mixtape from Coresh in the coming weeks. Good shit! Definitely keeping an eye out for that.

Below we got some footage of Dave opening up for Donnis at Lincoln Hall last week. Fortunately I caught the end of Dave’s set just as I was arriving. New track sounds dope.

Shouts to Q&Q Entertainment and the whole Jugrnaut family.
