A lot of hype behind this one. In celebration of the Saints Super Bowl victory, New Orleans native Curren$y drops his first mixtape of 2010. Can’t wait to bump it myself.

How could I not post this. Ha - good stuff from all the fellas. Cameos galore.
Yet another one from the jet settaaaa Curren$y whose anticipated mixtape Smokee Robinson is set to drop Superbowl Sunday. I’m assuming you can guess the topic of discussion on this one. Also dropped some footage below of Spitta performing at St. James Church.
Because of this video I will pay attention to anything Joe Budden releases. Well…being in Slaughterhouse helped out too. This is track is for everyone to get ready for Joey’s upcoming release The Great Escape. Shots fired on this one.
Spitta leaks the first track off his upcoming project Smokee Robinson which is set to drop Super Bowl Sunday (Feb .) I hope this is a good glimpse of whats more to come from this project.
The most recent single off Emilio Sparks upcoming project titled Kicks, Chicks, and Porno. This one features Harlem’s very own Esso. Look for the project to drop sometime next week.
“If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Freddie, this song will tell you the true story about how he acquired the scar by his eye. Much love to Buckwild for making this banger and much respect to Beanie Sigel for already blessing this beat and making his own version”
A fresh one off Freddie Gibb’s upcoming project titled The Labels Tryin to Kill Me.
The wait is over! Fly Society’s own jet setter Curren$y comes together with “Mr. Pittsburgh Sound” Wiz Khalifa. I also threw in some behind the scenes footage at the bottom. This tape should be ridiculous - two of my favorite up and coming rappers.
Mike Posner Signs to J Records + Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y Present How Fly (Video Promo)
Congrats Mike Posner on signing to J Recrords (Sony.) Hopefully they don’t fuck it up - but Posner seems like the kinda guy that gets work done.
(New York – NY) – Emerging and much buzzed about singer / songwriter / producer Mike Posner has signed to J Records. After self releasing his first mixtape A Matter of Time in March, it gained instant popularity and soared to become the #1 free download on iTunesU. A Matter Of Time is a genre spanning mixtape that includes Posner originals “Drug Dealer Girl” and perhaps his most ubiquitous song “Cooler Than Me” which features Kanye West protégée Big Sean. “At the tender young age of 21, Mike Posner is already a gifted artist, producer, writer, performer and obviously student as he got into Duke University, where he still has his senior year ahead of him! says Barry Weiss, Chairman and CEO, RCA/JIVE Label Group. “He is an artist that is already touching his peers through a vibrant on-line presence of his songs. Hats off to Peter Edge for bringing Mike into the company. We are excited.” 21 year old Posner hails originally from Southfield, MI and is about to begin his senior year at Duke University where he is majoring in Sociology and Business. He is currently in the studio working on his debut album which is scheduled for release later this year. Posner states, “I can’t think of a better way to start my senior year of college than by signing a record deal with J Records. I’ve been hard at work in the studio all summer and can’t wait to share my music with the world.”

Promo video for Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y’s upcoming collaboration mixtape titled How Fly.
These 3 chicago MCs come together in order to showcase their lyrical abilities. Coresh takes the cake (so he gets the photo) but all these dudes clearly hold their own. Looking forward to more material from all these cats. Shouts to The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as well as MWB for the linkage.
Twista recruits two of Chicago’s finest for this iTunes bonus track off Twista’s latest Category F5 which dropped in stores today! Chi-town what up?I’m about take my first listen through the album - I’ve been slackin. Though “Wetter” as the first single was a very poor choice.
Fly Society homie and New Orleans native Curren$y drops another free gem via Twitter for the masses to enjoy. This one bumps. More people need to pay attention to Fly Society. Especially the mixtape that they dropped last week that you can pick up here.
I have always been a pretty big Fly Society fan. I used to watch Terry Kennedy skate videos all the time last summer. He came together with rapper Curren$y to start Fly Society a hip-hop group/clothing company/a bunch of other shit. I’ll let Curren$y explain all about it over at an interview he did with OnSmash.com - a good read if your interested. They have a dope story.
Some dope ass songs on here - I really like this kinda stuff. Some party bangers, skate rap, Neptunes mixed with The Cool Kids type beats, its all on here. If you wanna test it out - take a listen to the track below. It’s a video for the 4th track on the mixtape titled “Professional” and features skateboarding rapper Terry Kennedy. Pretty bangin beat. Though I’d say a majority of the tape features rhymes from Curren$y - which most definitely is not a bad thing.
By the way Curren$ys mixtape titled This Ain’t No Mixtape is available now.
Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y - Car Service + Jamie Foxx ft. Kanye West, The-Dream & Drake - Digital Girl (Remix) + Ryan Leslie ft. Pusha T - Something That I Like
Drake hops on the Jame Foxx track “Digital Girl” which already had support from The Dream and Kanye West. I’m not a huge Jamie fan but this song is kinda hot. The remix premiered on Conan last week. You can watch it here.
