That dude Asher Roth drops the story behind his track with B.O.B. and Kanye called “Fuck The Money” which by the way is getting some serious rotation at my apartment. You can find the track on B.O.B.’s new mixtape titled “May 25th.” Crazy crazy crazy song. Asher also spills a little info about his upcoming mixtape that might drop earlier than later in March.
I’ve been listening to this all afternoon. This guy is gonna have one hell of a year. B.O.B.’s debut album B.O.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray which drops on May 25th. Album will be dropping via T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records.
Features guest verses from J. Cole, Asher Roth and Charles Hamilton. Production from B.O.B, Alchemist and Kanye West.
If you like this - Shake over at 2dopeboyz uploaded all of B.o.B’s previous mixapes. Check them out here.
My interview with B.o.B should be up this week and will be played on my radio show next week.
This is a radio rip but it’s with out a doubt worth posting anyway. B.O.B. recruits Asher Roth to spit over this crazy Kanye West best. This is off B’s mixtape that drops Monday, Feb 1st. The mixtape is titled May 25th because that’s when his album drops.
First off - if you don’t have this track in your library just do yourself a favor and download it now. This track has “Day N Nite” status…funny cause Fool’s Gold has picked both the first single for Kid CuDI and now Atlanta’s Donnis.
In early January, I visited the set for Donnis’ “Gone” video, directed by BBGun Films in Manhattan. The ATL Brave himself talked to me about the concept behind the visual, then A-Trak praised the record and explained the Fool’s Gold co-sign. Dan “Stadium Dan” Solomito closed it out by breaking down the importance of his client’s first video look. – Jayson Rodriguez

Three/21 recently shot with Cons to the Quence and Asher Roth in New York City for the track “Childish Games” on Cons’ upcoming mixtape “Movies On Demand”. This joint features some dope production by Mr. Attic and one of the best uses of a Biggie sample heard in a long time. Shout out to Statik Selektah for providing the cuts and be on the lookout for this vid next month. Band Camp Records is in the building!
Another track I have been enjoying gets the video treatment. Asher! Pick up the track below if you haven’t yet.
Smoke DZA – Marley & Me ft. Devin The Dude, Curren$y, & Asher Roth (Remix) (Video)
Smoke DZA recruits fellow Marley Smokers Devin The Dude, Curren$y, Asher Roth & hookman June Summers for his Smokers anthem “Marley & Me” produced by Scoop Deville. Directed by Creative Control. – OnSMASH
How could I not post this. Ha - good stuff from all the fellas. Cameos galore.
I don’t know that much about Intuition but he sounds pretty dope on this track. But we all know what this post is really for. Classic Slug over a friendly beat.
The most recent single off Emilio Sparks upcoming project titled Kicks, Chicks, and Porno. This one features Harlem’s very own Esso. Look for the project to drop sometime next week.
Asher Roth ft. Keri Hilson - She Don’t Want A Man (Video) + Nas & Damian Marley DJ Semtex Interview

Nas & Damian Marley DJ Semtex Interview
I caught up with Nas and Damian Marley at Rock the Bells in L.A. They talk about their forth-coming ‘Distant Relatives’ project. *The concept of Distant Relatives. *How they hooked up. *Working in the studio. *K’naan gets the ultimate co-sign. The Nas footage isn’t the best, but that’s how it goes when you get 10 minutes with one of the hottest rappers in the game in his tour bus, 12 minutes before he hits the stage. There wasn’t enough room on the tour bus for my camera crew. Sidebar: this was shot before the Blueprint tracklist leaked.
Pretty hard to believe that Asher has been “that guy” in the hip-hop scene for over a year now. I’d say for a white up and coming mainstream rapper he did alright. Asher Roth has been around a little bit longer than PWELBS.COM! This perhaps is his best piece of work - and it came out one year ago.
So todays the day. Asher’s much anticipated album Asleep In The Bread Aisle is finally in stores. I’ve already listened to the album a handful of times now and I gotta say I’m impressed. The production from his homie Oren Yoel is pretty nice. I like this album cause you jam it all the way through (maybe skip I Love College.) It has some nice guest apperances from Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley and Crime Mob, Jazze Pha, Busta Rhymes and Chester French.
As a little bonus for todays album drop make sure you check out this track with the king himself Slick Rick. This one shoulda been on the album - pretty fresh.
Also I gotta give it to Asher for this one - he made it big in a time where people don’t pay for music all through a grass roots movement.
I was thinking about just ignorning the handful of Asher tracks that have leaked the last few days. His new album drops in just over a week on 4.20. I’m not posting anymore from this project A: because it comes out soon and B: I’m tired of Asher posts. No hating on Asher because this new album is gonna be pretty surprsing I think. I’m expecting this to be a much better album than people were expecting. If your not sold yet take a look at these last 2 songs before the album drops next week. The first track shows some strengh on a pretty nice track with Busta Rhymes. The second track Asher in song acknowledges his never ending comparrison with Eminem. I really like them both…
Wafeek - My Friends (Video) + The Cool Kids and Asher Roth perform "Black Mags"
I’ve posted a handful of tracks from Wafeek over the last few months. Check em out here. But this time it looks like Wafeek and his gang put together a little project. Wafeek gets his T-Pain as he duets and spits over the classic Beatles song “My Friends.”
For some reason this is kinda cool.

Asher Roth joins Chicago MCs The Cool Kids on stage for their track “Black Mags.” The Cool Kids new album When Fish Ride Bicycles drops sometime this year.
Speaking of Asher check out another track off his new album Asleep In The Bread Aisle that drops on 4/20. Nice to see Beanie Sigel on this track too - nice pick up for Asher.
