First “I Came Up” using a familiar sample most may remember from the late great Big Pun & a song Add-2 recorded for Adult Swim that was never used both songs produced by Antman Wonder.

Add-2 links up with Miami Producer Mydus for the nostalgic song “Cassette Tapes”. Add-2 has just wrapped up shooting the video for “Luxury” (directed by Da Visionaryz) and be on the look out for the release of the video “Starter Jacket” (directed by Precise Minds) next week.

One of my favorite MCs of the year - Chicago’s Add-2 drops another gem. Looking forward to this “Starter Jacket” video too.

XV - Everybody’s Nobody (Mixtape) (Alternative Link)

To be honest I don’t know much about this Kansas MC. It looks like a pretty respectable project and seems to have some dope guest features. It’s gotten a lot of positive reviews.

EDIT: After bumping this all weekend - this is a must download! Make sure you check this out. XV is definitely been added on my list of MCs to watch. Dope stuff!

Add-2 - School Daze (prod. Slot-A)

This will not be on Chicago rapper Add-2’s upcoming mixtape Tale of Two’s City v.3, but is a very dope track regardless. Always nice to have some new material from Add-2. Also the video for his track “Starter Jacket” with prodction from Jaguar Skills is apparently on the way.

Chi-Town radio what up! Add-2 talks his single “Starter Jacket,” hip-hop on the internet, his blogging on-line and his upcoming mixtape titled Tale of Two Citys Vol. 3.

Add-2 - Tonight’s the Night Freestyle

Add-2 has been working hard on his upcoming mixtape Add-2 Presents: Tale Of Two’s City Vol.3 which will be the follow up to the acclaimed Vol.2: Return Of The Menace. The new mixtape will feature production from the previous installment such as Slot-A, Keeynote, R.D, Aaron and others as well as Antman Wonder, Ill Meel, Woody, The Legendary Twilite Tone and Jaguar Skills. The cover art will also be done by Shake of 2dopeboyz.com again. The release date has not been set but will be sometime in the summer.

Another doep freestyle from Chicago’s Add-2. Shouts to the homie Keeynote - who will have some production on the upcoming mixtape. Look out for an interview with Keeynote…well when I get my act together ha!
